Ozzy Osbourne to be played by Christopher Walken in Motley Crue Movie

Wow! Is all I can say about this.

In what has to be the coolest thing I have read all day long, two of my favorite people are converging into one awesome super person! I’m not a huge Motley Crue fan, but this is reason enough to make me want to see this movie.

Vince Neil of Motley Crue let the news slip during an interview with ABC News Radio regarding the upcoming Motley Crue movie “The Dirt: Confessions of the World’s Most Notorious Rock Band.” Apparently the prince of darkness himself, Mr. Ozzy Osbourne, will be played by acting great and “needs more cowbell” legend, Christopher Walken. Though the role is reportedly a small one, in fact only a cameo, this is still going to go down as one of THE coolest things ever.

It is also reported that Val Kilmer will be joining the cast for a cameo as Van Halen rocker, David Lee Roth.

“The Dirt” is based on the the Crue’s 2001 Autobiography and is said to be a real life version of “This is Spinal Tap.” The film, which was officially announced in April, is now in the preproduction stages of it’s life cycle and is scheduled to be released in 2008 by Paramount and MTV.
