Quickie: dingoRUE Updates, Bodog Poker’s Jamie Gold and Hell’s Kitchen Finale

I’ve been working on dingoRUE quite a bit over the last few days, tweaking, adding plugins and generally tinkering with the coolness that is WordPress. So far I’ve added some plugins to help with spam security, cross-posting to my LiveJournal, linking blog entries to: Technorati, del.icio.us and digg, automatically generating a google sitemap with every site update or post and very forms of streaming and subscribing services. It’s pretty damn cool the amount of things you can do with WordPress. The only thing I am having issues with is finding a good photo gallery plugin, but I’m working on that.
Friday at work was fantastic. Bodog sponsored poker player Jamie Gold won the 2006 WSOP (World Series of Poker) and won the coinciding gold bracelet and $12million, must be nice. Of course, since Riptown is contracted by Bodog.com, we had a huge, impromptu party to celebrate. I was lucky enough to be a part of the team that got to go out and pick up all the beer, wine and scotch for the party, it was just like a kid in a candy shop. We had to get enough for roughly 150 - 200 people, so we ended up leaving the liqour store with 5 shopping carts full of alcohol in the first trip. On the second trip we came back with another 3 shopping carts full to the brim, it really was a beautiful site. On the downside I lost $10 playing poker with the guys. Oh Well, small price to pay. 
The Hell’s Kitchen finale is tomorrow night and I can’t wait! After the bullshit debaucle that saw Keith getting the axe and Virginia staying, I don’t have a great deal of faith in the show, however, I have to watch to be sure Virginia doesn’t win it. If she wins, there will be no doubt in my mind the show is rigged and she’s doing Chef Gordong Ramsey. She’s been terrible the entire show, has never done a good job on a service and consistantly screws up and does poorly, she doesn’t deserve to be in the final two at all and the fact that she is, is quite disappointing. So, hopefully Heather will win. Will have to wait and see.
