Bridgette was HOH sort of, but Frank played a heavy role in her nominations when Paul and Tiffany were put on the block in Big Brother 18 Episode 9. Then Frank nominated one of her closest allies, Bronte, after he won the roadkill competition again.
Bronte suspects Paulie as the person who nominated her because she aligned herself with a really bad group that has been getting evicted. She reveals to the other Spy Girls that she’s a secret nerd.
The problem with everybody in the house being in your alliance is that everybody knows your secrets. James warns Natalie that Frank is the roadkill winner but asks her not to tell the other girls that they can’t trust him. A subtle attempt to get Bridgette to see that Frank cannot be trusted doesn’t work and instead gets Bridgette to say she doesn’t trust James.
Bronte chooses Natalie to participate in the power of veto competition. Paulie is selected at random. They join Bridgette, Bronte, Paul, and Tiffany.
Their challenge is to watch a list of ingredients and pour the correct one based on the description, such as the middle ingredient listed. Bronte and Natalie are eliminated on the first one, taking out two of the three Spy Girls right away. Paulie is eliminated next. Tiffany is next, and her male alliance members start jumping up and down. Paul is the last one eliminated, and Bridgette wins the power of veto.
Now she can save Bronte, putting Natalie in danger instead. Before she has time to contemplate this, Frank’s celebration with her goes wrong and puts her on crutches.
Nobody else needs to rat out Frank because he tells Bridgette himself. He also tells her that he won the first time, and he was the one who nominated her. He can’t be trusted, but he struck first before anybody else could, creating more trust in the process. Risky, but it seems to have worked.
Veto Ceremony
Veto is not used.
Bronte didn’t really want the veto used knowing that Natalie may be put in danger instead, but Bridgette doesn’t comment on why she made the decision she did.
