We skipped past the results in Big Brother 14 Episode 5 so Willie could be kicked out of the house after he flipped out because the whole house hated him for… some reason. Tonight some results.
Britney and her team blame Willie for the fact that they’re targets, but they made their own bed no matter how much of a jerk he may have been.
Boogie wants to use a pawn so they can get rid of Shane, but his new ally for the week Janelle is not happy with that plan. Shane may have joined in the Willie hate and helped push him over the line, but he needed him in this house because now he’s the biggest target.
Nominations
Ashley has immunity.
Jenn is safe.
Ian is safe.
Joe is safe.
Wil is safe.
Danielle is safe.
Shane and Jojo have been nominated for eviction.
In spite of the nominations and the fact that he just nominated him, Boogie suggests that Frank should try to get in good with Shane. We saw how well that went last week.
Frank chooses Ian at random to partcipate in the veto competition, Shane picks Ashley, and Jojo picks Wil. This leaves Danielle, the likely replacement nominee, with no hope of defending herself. Not that anybody thought she was going to win anyway.
They are brought outside for a Mexican inspired veto competition, complete with margaritas for the spectators. The participants are dressed as chips who must dip themselves while looking for menu items to build a complete menu. Since this is basically a memory game, you’d think Ian is going to win, though speed and not falling also play a part. In a close race between Ian and Shane, Shane finishes first. Meanwhile, Ashley is trying to figure out why fajita has a j in it.
Ashley gets 13 out of 16 correct. Wil gets all 16 correct and has the fifth fastest time. Frank also has them all right to take the lead. Jojo has them all right, too. Ian does as well. Rounding out the results, Shane has everything right and has the fastest time, so he has won the power of veto.
With Shane saving himself, the logical replacement becomes the other person who voted to get rid of Frank, Danielle. In what was looking like a good week to get rid of a big threat, Frank seems to be left with the two least threatening people as his targets.
Following the competition, Shane says he’d like to make a final two deal with Frank. Boogie asks him to not tell anybody. He complies with this request, telling Britney and Jojo that no deal was struck.
Shane suggests an alternate plan rather than continuing to decimate Dan’s and Britney’s already down teams. He wants Danielle (also one of his allies) to be kept safe so that they can work together with Frank and target Janelle’s team, taking out the second biggest physical threat in the house, Wil.
At the veto ceremony, Shane saves himself. Danielle is the replacement nominee.
