In a move reminiscent of the fat 5, the young, fit guys found themselves on the wrong end of the numbers in Survivor: One World Episode 3, leading to Matt’s elimination.
Jonas tells the girls he’s from Hawaii and knows how to use the fishing net. His offer is to use the net to catch some fish and give them half. They decline with the logic that they can’t feed their enemy (or themselves).
The object of the reward challenge is to knock out 5 targets in a row with a coconut slingshot. They can choose comfort (pillows, blankets, and a mattress), protection from the rain (a tarp), or luxury (coffee and donuts). Bill sits out for the men. Tarzan scores the first strike for the men. Kat scores the first clean hit for the women. Michael connects for the men. Monica hits one for the women. Sabrina scores, giving them two in a row in two spots. Jay strikes a second in a row for the men. Lisa hits the third in a row. Kim makes it four. Jonas (or Jason if you believe Tarzan) hits the third in a row. Chelsea strikes for a different row of three. Monica scores to win reward. They take the tarp, which evens the score with the men, who won a tarp earlier in the season.
Bill hears from Leif how Colton wanted to get rid of him. Now Colton still hates Bill, but he hates Leif as well.
Heading into the challenge, Alicia starts bickering with Kat because that’s what she does. That oughta get the morale up. At the challenge, they are paired up to solve puzzles. Jonas sits out for the men. Colton and Tarzan solve the first puzzle, pulling ahead of Alicia and the person who got stuck with her, Chelsea. Jay and Michael solve their second puzzle. Chelsea and Alicia look at the men’s puzzle, which leads to them being called cheaters. This doesn’t help them very much, but eventually they finally solve it. Troyzan and Bill solve their third puzzle. Men win immunity. Alicia finds this loss amusing.
Christina remains a target, but Alicia has joined her on the chopping block.
Meanwhile, Bill would like to discuss Colton’s issues with him. Colton covers his head, whines, tells him he’s going home next, and says he doesn’t want to talk. Colton has a plan. Go to the girls and give away immunity. This is so ridiculously stupid that I don’t know whether it’s even allowed because nobody has ever been this idiotic before. Tarzan is onboard because he wants to get rid of Leif, a traitor. Even Bill says this may be a good idea because it takes the heat off him (to be returned next time, at best). Somehow, they manage to swing a majority to vote for the men to go instead of the women.
Surely this is one of the most stupid moves in the history of the game, but it goes to show that Colton is in control of his group of morons.
Tribal degrades into a race war and a discussion about homosexuality as the two minorities slug it out when Colton tells Bill to get a real job.
