America’s Got Talent Season 6 Episode 25 brought us the first of the semifinal acts. Tonight 5 acts will advance as the top 10 starts to take shape.
Apparently Demi Lovato is out of rehab and back to performing, even if she has been kicked off the horrible sketch comedy So Random.
Sandou Trio Russian Bar, Zuma Zuma, Matt Wilhelm, and Team iLuminate are up first. Before last night, I would have been stunned if Sandou got eliminated, but they just threw it away. Team iLuminate, meanwhile, are among the frontrunners. That said, these are all very strong acts. Team iLuminate is the group advancing to the top 10.
Poplyfe goes up against Lys Agnes. Nick tells us this is the closest result ever on this show. Really? Both acts advance.
Melissa Villasenor, Miami All Stars, and Kevin Colis are next. Well, I guess Miami All Stars is the right one to advance here.
Beth Ann Robinson, Daniel Joseph Baker, and West Springfield Dance Team are the final three acts competing for the last remaining spot of the night. Beth Ann Robinson has been eliminated. Howie votes for West Springfield Dance. Piers does, too, sending West Springfield Dance Team to the next round.
