The top 10 danced in So You Think You Can Dance Season 5 Episode 16, and tonight two more will go home.
The Emmys were announced, and So You Think You Can Dance was nominated for 4 for choreographers:
Mia Michaels’ routine performed by Twitch & Katee
Tabitha & Napoleon Dumo’s routine performed by Chelsie & Mark
Tyce Diorio’s routine performed by Jessica & Will
Dmitry Chaplin’s routine performed by Chelsie & Joshua
The makeup department also got nominated.
Nigel’s not there tonight. He’s receiving a(n honorary) doctorate of arts. Yeah, the judges really are that pointless on elimination night now.
We start off with the girls. Janette is safe. Randi is in the bottom two. Jeanine is safe, which she can thank Travis Wall for. Kayla is safe, while Melissa is in the bottom two.
The boys go next. Jason is safe. Evan is also safe. Kupono is in the bottom two. Brandon is safe. Ade joins Kupono in the bottom two, a little surprising, but his partner definitely stole the show from him last night. Although Evan should have been in the bottom, he seems to have a following.
Having pulled the fewest votes for the girls, Randi Evans has been eliminated. Melissa survives for another week.
The boys are up next. Kupono’s been in the bottom, well, a lot, so I’m assuming this is the end of the line for him. It is. He joins his partner from last night in going home.
