Richard Hatch’s request to travel to Samoa for the filming of Survivor 20 has been denied by a federal judge according to Providence Journal. Hatch is serving out the final months of his sentence for tax evasion in a halfway house in Pennsylvania. Unless it’s a season of all winners, Hatch being there is quite pointless anyway, like his return in All Stars was. Granted, he did serve as the catalyst for Sue Hawk’s meltdown, but I think we all know that was coming regardless.
But with that all said, I guess we can assume that season 20 will be another all stars, or at least a half stars like Micronesia, which turned into an awesome season that almost redeemed the producers for the near series killing Exile, Cook Islands, and Fiji.
