Following the hometown dates, Jason chose his final three in The Bachelor 13 Episode 6, eliminating Naomi in the process after the creepiest home date ever.
Now that we’re down to the final three, it’s time to go on the overnight dates, which will be in New Zealand. But first it’s time for yet another 15 minute recap for those who didn’t see the last 15 minute recap.
Jillian gets picked up first in a helicopter, which they take to a lake in the middle of nowhere for a picnic. Jillian says she’s looking for a best friend, but Jason wants to know whether there’s a more passionate connection. He says they’re literally on the edge of a cliff… just like their relationship. That night they go to a winery. Every time she hangs out with him exceeds her expectations (probably because the producers keep spending more money each time). She’s been surprised that the whole process turned out like it did and has never felt like somebody is more meant for her than he is before. After dinner they head to the fantasy suite. Jillian wants to “see if we connect physically.” Jason thinks that his family would love her more than anybody.
Molly gets a rainy day with Jason. They’ll be going tandem bungee jumping in Queenstown, New Zealand, where it was invented. It’s a “huge leap of faith.” Oy. Molly’s family loved Jason, which apparently is the only reason she’s still giving him a chance. She has a list of questions. Yeah, it’s really a list that she’s written down (or printed from an online psych site), in an effort to make sure she knows that his favorite flavor of ice cream peanutbutter chocolate before taking the plunge. After asking the questions, she’s leaving one question left for tonight. Jason had fun with the quiz, but the fun part is always easy with her. He hopes to find out whether there’s anything more serious. Molly’s worried about having to talk about her feelings. Jason feels like he needs to pull a lot of things out of her. Her family isn’t mushy, which is not something Jason’s used to, but she’s trying to let her walls down and thinks she’s falling in love. Now that that’s done, she gets to question number 20, where she invites him to stay the night with her, rather than waiting for the card from Chris.
Melissa gets the last date, where Jason plans to grill her about why her family refused to meet him on a reality TV show. She’s worried about the potential fallout from that and that so and so will have an advantage because of it. They’re going out on the lake on Winston Churchill’s old boat. The boat takes them to a hot tub with a view of the lake and the mountain. She tells him her parents would just accept him if they know he makes her happy. He thinks that he can fall in love with Melissa without meeting her parents… but it can only go so far. So the proposal’s out of the question then? Upon arrival at the restaurant, they’ve got their own private room. Still harping on the hometown date, Melissa wants to know whether it’s a really big deal. Jason is unable to answer that question. When they get to the fantasy suite, hopefully they’re done talking about her parents, which has to be killing the mood. She takes the opportunity to let him know she’s never felt like this and has fallen head over heels. Jason says that his doubts are now gone.

Jillian has been eliminated. He doesn’t believe he can keep up with her, and he also doesn’t want to marry his best friend. She, however, has completely fallen in love with him. Nonetheless, she’s just looking for somebody who loves her for her.
