Kyle XY Season 3 Episode 1

Kyle XY Season 2 Episode 23 concluded the second season with Amanda’s disappearance after prom, with the only evidence left behind being a Latnok ring. After some time off following the strike, Kyle and crew are back for season 3.

As he’s standing there holding the ring and searching for Amanda, Kyle’s zapped and taken away. He awakens to find he’s hooked up to machines and strapped down. Doesn’t he have like superpowers?

Josh is convinced he ain’t getting any, but he’s going to the after party anyway. All the heat, making out, and gyrating there isn’t helping him any.

Jessi and her mom are getting ready to bail, but she thinks something’s wrong with Kyle, so she refuses to leave until she sees Kyle first.

Speaking of Kyle’s superpowers, he uses his telekinesis to move objects with his mind and free himself. There may be nowhere to run, but he can jump off that building and get away nonetheless.

He runs home to check on Amanda but can’t hear her heartbeat. His hovering allows him to check her room to see for sure she’s not there. He might want to be careful that nobody’s watching him, but luckily it’s just Lori who sees him. She agrees to go to the afterparty and see if she can find Amanda. When Kyle receives a message on his phone, however, he realizes that Latnok’s got her. So he heads to their building to find her (the same building where he’d been held hostage not long before), but when he arrives, everything and everyone is gone. Jessi’s there, though.

Declan’s busy getting over Lori, which he’s doing with alcohol and a blonde.

When she arrives at Kyle’s house, Carol, Amanda’s mom, isn’t happy because, well, she’s never happy, but she’s up for a drink.

Hillary suggests to Declan a hot and sweaty mack session. As he starts up with her, Lori walks in.

Kyle and Jessi create a map on the floor to try to track down Amanda. When they relisten to the video message, they hear a train at a railroad crossing. They just have to locate that to find Amanda.

Amanda’s mom seems mostly over her missing daughter. As long as the champagne lasts.

Kyle and Jessi arrive where they believe Amanda’s being held, and Kyle makes all the lights go out. He shows Jessi that they can still see with their vision enhanced.

Back at the afterparty, Hillary refuses to let herself like Declan. Try as he might, Josh only gets to play video games at his prom.

Jessi reluctantly promises Kyle that she’ll get out and head straight back to Sarah if they get separated. But she gets her wish when they’re spotted and forced to fight weapon wielding madmen. Her way is more fun than hiding overhead. He hears Amanda’s heartbeat now and goes to rescue her while Jessi stays behind and continues to assault people. He busts through the door after turning it and grabs Amanda. After telling Jessi to go and take Amanda with her, Kyle jumps in front of a bullet to let them get away.

When he wakes up, they’ve got him in a room. It was just a rubber bullet. Latnok planned this whole thing just as a test to see if he could control his abilities while upset. They believe they have it all figured out. Kyle will do anything for Amanda, and Jessi will do anything for Kyle. Good thing Lori’s new pal Mark was there to help Latnok out. Jessi’s upset that they only care about him but not her.

Amanda thinks she just fell asleep at the prom, but regardless Kyle did manage to get her home by her not difficult to meet 3:00 curfew with moments to spare.

When she returns home, Jessi’s introduced to Cassidy, the guy from Latnok who’s living in her building. More bad news is that Sarah is missing now.

Kyle believes Amanda is safe, but she’s got something on her neck that indicates otherwise.

MTV, VH1, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central Set to Go Dark

Due to failed licensing fee negotiations, Viacom has threatened to pull its networks from Time Warner Cable’s 13 million subscribers if no deal is reached by midnight tonight. The impacted channels would be Comedy Central, the Nickelodeon channels, the MTV channels, the VH1 channels, CMT, BET, Spike, Palladia, Logo, TV Land, Noggin, and The N.

Both companies blame each other. Neither appear ready to budge. Whatever happens, consumers lose, and both companies will probably get their wish that the other will have its share of angry customers.

UPDATE: In the one hour of extended talks after midnight, the two sides have reached an agreement on a new contract.

Prison Break Season 4 Episode 16

Lincoln agreed to let Michael have his operation done by company doctors in Prison Break Season 4 Episode 15, in exchange for agreeing to return Scylla to the company safely. While he was having the operation, the vivid dreams gave Michael the answers he was looking for as to what Scylla really is. Gretchen and Self, having lost Scylla to the buyer without being paid, now have a new set of allies they don’t trust. T-Bag’s in the mix as well.

Lincoln meets with a girl who it turns out set him up. By the time he figured it out, he was being shot at. It’s a good thing he stole her wallet.

Sara tells the general that she wants to help rehabilitate Michael. He declines and tells her to just wait a few days or so. Also, he wants to put an end to the exhausting cat and mouse and to utilize Michael to his full potential.

Self decides that Burrows’ plan is wasting time, and he wants to change the regime. T-Bag doesn’t have a problem with that.

Gretchen believes it’s an inside job, which doesn’t change anything but just makes it harder.

Self informs Lincoln that he’s no longer in charge. Lincoln doesn’t trust him, but just as he’s about to start pounding him, Mahone arrives. Lincoln informs Self he’ll either keep doing what he’s told, or he’ll have his brains blown out.

Michael’s having a chat with a company doctor who’s trying to convince him he knows everything about him.

The group believes that someone’s trying to get Scylla out of the country by boat undetected. Mahone and Self head to the marina looking for Tia. The guy working there pretends he doesn’t know anything until he finds out Homeland’s involved. He admits that he moved a boat further down the dock. The boat’s headed to Nassau, Bahamas, and it’s leaving as they speak. They stop the passengers and begin a luggage search. The guy who’s running away might be a good place to start. Except he’s just carrying some joints.

Sara’s waiting for a phone call at a pay phone. The phone rings. She picks it up. And some masked men hop out of a van and grab her. She meets up with Lisa, who tells her where Michael is, says she’s on her side (or at least not on the company’s side), and that she better hurry because Michael’s personality is being carved out in an effort to recruit him. She could be setting her up, but it’s not like Sara has much choice.

Following a search of the people getting on the boat, they’ve come up with nothing.

Sara calls Lincoln to let him know what’s going on. An eavesdropping T-Bag calls the general to tell him the news, but if he was hoping for some reward, the phone hanging up on him doesn’t make it look too promising. The general instructs the doctor to get Scofield ready for transit, even if it kills him.

The boys believe they’ve found their guy, but Gretchen doesn’t need to do much looking. She’s ahead of them and already arranged a meeting. He offers her $10 million to serve up whoever’s on his tail.

As the doctor’s about to inject Scofield, he hears a noise. Scofield has arranged a disturbance that allows him to grab a gun and get the doctor drugged.

Gretchen tells the boys that the buyer is Lawrence Wilcox, who got on a plane and flew to the Bahamas, then got on a boat.

Michael’s on foot, but his head start isn’t very big as he’s fleeing from gun toting maniacs, who catch up to him. Luckily, Sara’s driving by and runs them off the road.

As Gretchen’s allegedly bringing the boys to the buyer, some guys show up and pull their guns on them, and she pulls her gun on them as well. More interested in getting her life back than the money, though, she shoots the goons instead. She leaves one man standing, who tries to stall but eventually is forced to fire on her before being shot himself. Self wants them to kill her, but the others have some compassion and let her lay there and bleed.

Michael’s learned from his experience that his mother may be alive.

Lincoln answers the dead guy’s phone and warns the person on the other line that he’s coming after her. When she’s asked who was on the phone, she answers that it was her son.

That’s where we leave things for now. Prison Break will be returning in the spring (schedule as yet undetermined… presumably March or April) for what will most likely be the final episodes leading up to the series finale. While the show has not yet been officially cancelled, it does not appear there will be a season 5.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 13

Hiro and Claire went back in the past to try to change who received the catalyst in Heroes Season 3 Episode 12. They succeeded, as Hiro was injected with it instead of Claire. Too bad Arthur showed up to steal the catalyst and trap Hiro on a light post.

Even though Arthur’s dead, Nathan doesn’t want the plan to die along with him. Peter’s not interested in continuing the plan, though.

Sylar breaks the news of Arthur’s death to the others and tells them he’s going to prove to them they’re all monsters, too.

Claire tells them her weakness, which she believes is Sylar’s weakness as well since he’s got her healing ability.

Meanwhile, 16 years ago, Hiro’s still hanging on a pole, asking a pigeon to help him.

Suresh’s infection has spread to his lungs, and he believes he’ll die if he doesn’t inject himself with the formula. Except the formula is stolen from him out of thin air. Daphne gives it to Ando, who hopes to become a time traveler, even though Matt warns him that he may end up just like Suresh.

Hiro manages to no longer be on the pole. He returns to his house to ask himself for some help finding the formula.

Sylar tells Claire that, if she kills Angela, he’ll allow them to leave. She’s not interested in the deal.

HRG goes to find a bunch of mad dog killer types, offering them their freedom in exchange for bringing them Sylar’s head. They’re just bait.

Peter, likewise, is working with some thugs, who say he’s one of the good guys now.

Ando tries to use his new time traveling power. Except he doesn’t have a new time traveling power.

Creepy puppetmaster guy is up first, but he can’t control Sylar and joins the list of casualties.

Then Sylar pumps Meredith with adrenaline so she can’t control her fire. Sylar tells HRG that the glass is bulletproof, and that he might need the one bullet he’s got left to eliminate the threat.

Nathan tells Knox he’s backing the wrong horse because Peter always loses. After they get into a fight, Tracy’s back, and her freezing power proves to be the difference.

Ando’s having trouble controlling his power, whatever it is. When Parkman touches him, he’s able to hear every thought of every person in the city. When Daphne touches him, she splits into two Daphnes. She thinks she traveled back in time, a few seconds anyway.

Sylar tells Claire he’s raised the stakes. Save daddy or save Angela. She goes downstairs, but Sylar ripped the keypad out of the wall. HRG has Meredith press her hands against the window with as much heat as she can, then Claire jumps through the glass to free HRG. Claire grabs her dad and runs off but tells her mom she’s coming back for her.

Tracy tells Nathan they need a new game with their own rules, which they can do as long as they get the formula. So he fires her.

Daphne and Ando plan to go back in time to where Hiro was. Not that they know it’ll work.

Hiro’s dad catches him hanging around and pulls out a sword. Hiro rips up the formula into two pieces, then disappears. Daphne and Ando have managed to track him down and bring him back to the present.

Hiro and Daphne arrive to tell Tracy they need the formula. She says she’s got plans for the formula and calls him Pikachu. Punching her and stealing the formula turns out to be an effective idea, though.

Once they’re done destroying the formula, Flint wants to blow up the building, whether there are people inside it or not. Nathan comes up and knocks Flint out, then he turns his attention to Peter. This fight is ended by Flint setting the place on fire as planned. Peter injects himself with the formula, and he flies out with Nathan.

Angela admits to Sylar that she’s not his mother. He forces some more truth out of her, which includes that he’s a monster, not a hero. The good news is that she knows who his real parents are. He’ll have to leave her alive to get any more out of her. As he’s trying to force the truth out, Claire knocks him down.

Claire goes back to save her mom, too, but they’re forced to leave as she explodes the building.

Now Peter’s got flying ability, and he saved his brother because he’s his brother, even if Nathan wouldn’t have done the same.

Hiro’s got the formula and tears it up.

So concludes volume three. Volume 4, Fugitives, begins February 2, 2009 when Heroes returns. Nathan wants to get the government involved to round up all the heroes and put them in a facility where they won’t be a danger.

Prison Break Season 4 Episode 15

Michael’s refusal to go to the hospital finally caught up with him in Prison Break Season 4 Episode 14. While attempting to flee with Scylla, he collapsed, winding up in the hands of the company. They offered to do the operation, in exchange for assistance in getting Scylla returned safely.

Sara shows up and is assured that everything will be okay. Not surprisingly, she’s not so sure she can trust the general.

Michael wants to know what hospital he’s in, but he’s not given an answer. Sara tells him to not worry about Scylla.

Lincoln doesn’t want to leave until he makes sure Michael’s alright, but the general doesn’t want to start the surgery until Lincoln can prove he can hold up his end of the deal.

The general does happen to be holding an accomplice. T-Bag tries to negotiate, but lucky for Lincoln he already hates T-Bag and doesn’t mind torturing him. After ripping out some teeth, he gets the answer he wanted about where Gretchen and Self are.

Mahone’s being transported and asks to use the bathroom. His request is denied because he’ll probably run, but since he used to work for the government, he knows it legally can’t be denied and lets this be known. With a warning that he can be shot if he attempts to flee, they reluctantly agree to let him out.

Michael’s being operated on in such a way that he’s having vivid memories. In one of them, he’s back in Fox River, where he’s greeted by Charles Westmoreland (DB Cooper). Westmoreland tells him he’s not dead, although he doesn’t know why he’s there.

Mahone’s given an escort into the bathroom and allowed 15 minutes to go. He doesn’t flee, but he does take a piece of the sink with him. As he’s walking out, he tells Lang she should have trusted him, like he trusted her.

Michael apologizes to Charles, who tells him it doesn’t have to be all for nothing because he does have the answers.

Gretchen gets a call from her sister. Self tells her not to answer. She responds that he should just shoot her then. Rita called to say they’re free and that some guys have taken T-Bag. Then she asks Gretchen to stay away from them for everyone’s sake.

Lincoln and Sucre arrive at the rendezvous point T-Bag gave them, but Gretchen and Self appear to have fled. The buyer arrives to see that the seller’s not there.

Mahone asks Lang when she decided to turn her back on him. She says the only thing she ever wanted was his safety, which she wasn’t going to get as long as he was on the run. Mahone proceeds to smash a window and hops out of the car.

Sara’s worried about the procedure she’s watching because she’s never seen it or the equipment being used. It’s an experimental procedure that’s only been used once before. The general tells her the other patient lived a long happy life.

Michael’s feeling guilty about how many people had to die in the process of saving his brother’s life, but he wouldn’t have done it different anyway.

Gretchen tells Don that if he actually knew what was on Scylla, he’d have second thoughts about who he’s selling it to.

In the dash through the woods, Lang manages to catch Mahone. He tells her he’s as good as dead if she takes him in, so if she wants to stop him, she’ll have to shoot. As threatened, she pulls the trigger, but she misses on purpose and lets him go, sending the other agent the opposite way.

Lincoln and Sucre stop by the store where Gretchen and Self stopped to buy a phone. After beating up the guy at the store, Lincoln gets the receipt from the purchase.

The doctor tells Sara that the tumor has spread and that the procedure may remove some of his memories. Just then, Michael’s vitals start to fall. Westmoreland tells him it’s time to go, but not to die. With that, he bounces back.

Self doesn’t want to give up Scylla until he sees the money, but Gretchen lets him know to stop screwing around and just give the guy Scylla. As the seller’s verifying the data, Lincoln and Sucre show up. The seller starts shooting, hitting Self, and then takes off.

Michael’s awake and seems to be okay, but his dream is creeping into the conversation. He thinks that Scylla is more than just the company’s little black book. The general said that as long as they have Scylla, they have power. Michael believes this means energy, harnessed from the sun. They’re not protecting the past; they’re protecting the future.

Sucre tells Lincoln he can’t do this any more. Michael being okay is enough for him.

The general tells Lincoln that he’s going to work with Gretchen and Self because they all took something from him and are all going to get it back. Lincoln agrees to tell Michael that they have to retrieve Scylla. It turns out their mom worked for the company before she died.

Heroes Season 3 Episode 12

The conclusion of the eclipse showed most of the heroes just how week they are without their powers in Heroes Season 3 Episode 11, but now everything’s back to normal. With that said, Hiro’s traveled back in time with Claire to see her when she was first born.

Claire knows who Hiro is, but as she tries to find out more, she realizes a critical detail: he doesn’t understand a word she’s saying.

Hiro’s mom tells his father that she’s dying and they must make arrangements for the catalyst before it’s too late. She hopes to keep it in the family, but he suggests Claire, who has decided she must prevent them from injecting her.

Sylar’s decided he’s not helping Arthur any more, or anyone else for that matter. Before he looks for more people with abilities, though, he has to torch Elle’s body.

Angela warns Peter that Arthur will destroy him if he gets in the way.

Nathan returns to Pinehearst and tells his father he’s taking over. He finds out Tracy’s been working there, she claims on his behalf, and forming an army of potential heroes, literally.

Claire goes into her house and decides to change her own diaper. A little creepy. While there, she warns her mother to not let her out of her sight.

Sylar stops by to see his first new power holder, Sue Landers, a human lie detector.

The Marines think they’re going to get some sort of drug, supposedly safe. That’s a risk they’re willing to take if it will make them better, perhaps more than only human.

Parkman, Ando, and Daphne arrive to see about the messenger who got the sketches from Isaac Mendez. A little bit of mind reading and bribery later, they get the guy to say he’s cooperating. He takes off on his bike with the sketches when they’re not looking. Good thing there’s a speedster with them who can cause him to run into a car.

Hiro’s father believes that he is too irresponsible to handle being the catalyst.

Claire’s father comes home and wants to know who she is and what the hell she wants. When the company calls, she manages to convince him not to answer because they plan to take Claire back and do something to her.

Likewise, Hiro has a chat with his mom, and he tells her he’s from the future. She wants to know everything about his life, but he doesn’t remember. He asks her to heal him like she healed the dove before. With a kiss on the forehead, everything is back. He’s saved the world and hopes to save it again, asking her to give him the catalyst. With her last breaths, she does as he asks.

With the sketch book finally revealed, we see the cover saying that Hiro’s lost in time.

Hiro arrives to see Claire, and he’s speaking English now. Arthur appears and hears their discussion about how the catalyst is in Hiro. Arthur takes the catalyst and Hiro’s powers, then throws him off the roof. Then he tells Claire to tell Angela it’s over and he won. Hiro’s hanging on a light post waiting for somebody to rescue him.

Parkman thinks Arthur will create another time traveler now that he’s got the ability to give people powers, and this time traveler can go back in time and save Hiro. Either that or just get stuck there himself.

Now that he’s got the catalyst, Arthur’s ready to change the world. Nathan’s going to test out the Marine, while Arthur goes to deal with Peter, who arrives with a gun and is there to stop him. The Haitian makes sure Arthur’s not using his powers.

The Haitian tells Peter that he can’t hold on for much longer and that he needs to shoot. After some delay, he shoots, but the bullet is stopped by Sylar. He uses his new truth telling power to find out that Arthur’s not really his father. Peter may not be a killer, but Sylar is. He starts the bullet back up and hits Arthur in the head with it.
