America’s Got Talent Season 4 Episode 19

Posted by Shane on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 8:48 pm

Jeffrey Ou, Lawrence Beaman, Mario & Jenny, Hairo Torres, and FootworKINGz advanced to the semifinals in America’s Got Talent Season 4 Episode 18. Tonight the final 12 acts perform.

The contestants competing tonight are:

Ishaara
Coney Island Chris
Matt & Anthony
Pam Martin’s Top Dogs
African High Flyers
Erik & Rickie
The EriAm Sisters
Mia Boostrom
Recycled Percussion
Barbara Padilla

Additionally, the two wild cards are:

Drew Stevyns
Lollipop Girls

Bollywood dance group Ishaara is up first. Piers enjoys the act, but mostly can’t take his eyes off the blonde chick in the middle. Hoff calls them the best dance act on the show.

Opera singer Barbara Padilla hopes to be a good example for her adopted daughter. She brings down the house. Sharon’s breath has been taken away. Hoff tells her she is exactly where she is supposed to be because she’s a star. Piers says this is the reason Simon Cowell created this show, and the bar has been raised so high that nobody will beat her tonight.

Pam Martin has brought with her another one of her top dogs, Spy, Viva’s brother. Hoff tells her she’s may not win, but she does have a place in Vegas. Piers is surprised that Spy did not make any mistakes and he didn’t have to buzz. Sharon mostly just likes dogs that don’t pee everywhere.

The African High Flyers grew up hanging out on the beach in Kenya, performing their acrobatic dance routines for tips from tourists. Piers buzzes because they have not progressed far enough from the auditions. Although Sharon enjoyed the show, she agrees with him. Hoff, however, loved it.

Mia Boostrom returns to sing and play piano to Hallelujah by Leonard Cohen. A risky song. Sharon hopes she’s in the five. Hoff is proud to have been part of her transformation. Piers has a big but. Not a perfect performance, especially at the higher range. He can’t rate her above Kevin Skinner, Lawrence Beaman, or Barbara Padilla.

Erik & Rickie are ballroom dancers ages 8 and 9. They’ve been dancing since they were kids. Their performance for this evening is the paso doble. Quite talented for their ages, but I still say they’re no Cheeky Monkeys. Hoff could see them going all the way. Piers is impressed with Erik’s improvement. Sharon wants to see people vote.

Coney Island Chris is just hoping not to kill himself. First he lights his tongue on fire, resulting in buzzers from Piers and Sharon. Then he drinks some lamp oil and spits fire, followed by lighting his butt on fire. As he gets extinguished, Hoff makes it three buzzers. Piers was horrified. By how bad it was. Sharon doesn’t know how he got this far. Hoff just wanted to see him set himself on fire.

Matt Lucas is a guitar player, while Anthony Morigerato is a tap dancer. How do they combine to form a cohesive act? Well, I guess that’s still the unanswered question. Piers buzzes. Sharon loves Anthony’s dancing, but the combination just doesn’t gel. Hoff thinks the combination works, even though it’s a little rusty. Piers appreciates Anthony’s dancing like Sharon, but he doesn’t like that the singing, while competent, isn’t up to par.

The Lollipop Girls are the first wild card act of the night. I don’t know that they’re necessarily hot enough to do this stripper routine, although they do get themselves plenty of whistling (apparently all from one guy) regardless. Hoff says that Vegas needs an act like this. Piers could watch that for a long time. He became more certain the more they took off.

The other wild card act of the night is singer Drew Stevyns. Piers doesn’t think he has the voice to carry him through. He sings and plays guitar to How to Save a Life by The Fray. Not sure it’s enough, but he’s definitely got something there. Piers doesn’t think he’s the best singer, but he sees desire and hunger. Respectable effort and probably the best performance he’s ever given. When he heard him earlier, Hoff thought he was the guest star of the week.

Recycled Percussion create music with just about anything they can get their hands on. Sharon applauds them for listening to the judges and making it more musical. Hoff just wants to go bang on and break things as soon as he calms down a little. Piers calls them 20 times better than before.

The EriAm Sisters are semi-professional singers ages 12-16. They sing Beyonce’s Crazy in Love. Hoff warns them they sing so great, but the dancing is just okay. Piers doesn’t know what Destiny’s Child were like at their age (they performed on Star Search in the 90s, and they thought they were rappers), but he thinks we’re looking at the next Destiny’s Child.

Big Brother 11 Episode 21

Posted by Shane on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 7:47 pm

After Jeff won HOH in Big Brother 11 Episode 20, he nominated his enemies Natalie and Kevin, supposedly both as pawns to get rid of Russell.

Russell is very surprised he hasn’t been nominated, although he realizes that he can be eliminated should he not win the veto competition.

Russell’s vote to save Natalie over Jessie, which did not work and at the time seemed quite odd, is an indication to Jeff that he can’t trust him.

Jeff wants Jordan to get focused and practice for the lame competitions in the house because he wants someone who will actually protect him.

Russell rings the doorbell of the HOH room. Jeff is asleep with headphones on and doesn’t answer. Let’s bump up the paranoia.

Kevin has been surprised to find that all the houseguests have been supportive and accepting of him being gay.

Like Russell, Michele is getting suspicious about their alliance with Jeff and Jordan. Speaking of Jeff and Jordan, she doesn’t like that Jeff is snapping at her lately. Trouble in paradise? He’s worried that everybody thinks she’s the sweetest person in there. Ideally, that’s not somebody you want to be up against in the final two.

Kevin’s got a plan. If Jeff and Jordan are dumb enough to take the bait, they’ll stab them in the back the first chance they get. Should they actually win something for a change. Granted, it’s not like they’re up against particularly tough competitors in these challenges any more.

The houseguests walk out in the backyard where they’re greeted by an ape, bananas, and, of course, Casey, who apparently thinks he’s a rapper. He will rap, and the houseguests must get the bananas that match the clues based on evicted houseguests. Then they have to get up that ramp. An easier task for the boys than for Natalie and Michele. Jordan is eliminated on the first question. Her concern is that Jeff will be so mad at her for not pulling her weight. Having done so poorly last time, Michele knows instantly where her next banana is. Natalie gets eliminated in the second round. Russell is eliminated in the third round. He prays that Michele can win, but based on how much difficulty she’s having getting up that ramp, it doesn’t seem very likely, although this whole searching task is largely dumb luck. Kevin gets eliminated in the fourth round. After screwing with Michele’s mind some, Jeff wins the power of veto.

Russell promises hell in the house if he goes up on the block. Oh. Again?

Jeff and Jordan are worried that Michele and Russell are a pair, and they are. The most unlikely pair ever, but a pair nonetheless. Beyond that, Jordan and Jeff have convinced themselves that these two people with no relationships with the jury are threats to them in the end.

Jeff wants to know what his assurances are. Natalie and Kevin promise that he won’t go up. So Jordan will be one of the nominees. That seems to sit well with him.

At the veto meeting, all goes according to plan. Kevin has been removed from the block. In his place goes Russell. Jeff couldn’t get past the Jessie vote, and Michele and Russell were getting a little too close.

While I’m happy to see that clown Russell getting what he’s got, it’s hard to say whether this is a good move. This would eliminate a strong physical challenge threat who’s unpredictable, but it also leaves a loyal alliance on the opposite side with 50/50 odds of winning HOH. Granted, should they take those odds and come out on top, it could potentially be game suicide. There are only 6 votes in the jury, and losing both Jeff’s and Jordan’s at the same time is as likely as it is dangerous. On the other hand, both of them do have more friends in the jury than Russell, who’s spent all summer making a series of enemies.

Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 Episode 7

Posted by Shane on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at 6:45 pm

In the totally pointless nomination ceremony, Sabrina and Andy were chosen by their teams for elimination in Hell’s Kitchen Season 6 Episode 6. Not content with these choices, Ramsay chose to eliminate Jim instead.

There’s a craps table. Each person will roll the dice once and choose an ingredient with one letter. They need to make sure the ingredients compliment each other.

Women: Rabbit (Suzanne), haricot vert (Amanda), potatoes (Tennille), garlic (Sabrina), hamhock (Ariel)
Men: Haddock (Andy), figs (Dave), angel hair pasta (Van), apples (Kevin), tomatoes (Andy)

The women have done a good job. As for the men, well, good luck. Figs? Really? The women know what they’re doing, though you wouldn’t hear that from Suzanne, who wants to tell them all exactly what to do. The men have to figure out how to incorporate figs, and they’re pleased with the sauce they get from it. Tennille has never made garlic puree before. She repeatedly questions whether it’s okay. Ariel tells her to stop fussing because it’s good. The men end up winning the challenge, somehow putting together figs and fish. The women lost because the garlic overpowered everything else.

For their reward, the men will be departing for Vegas, where they are greeted with their names (or at least the show’s name) in lights. As for the women, they will be unloading the trucks because it’s delivery day, and they also will be prepping both kitchens. By the way, they have to wake up in the middle of the night to unload, too.

The men are still Robertless, and they’re pleased with how things are going. So is him coming back from the hospital good news or bad news? Bad apparently. Nobody seems happy he’s back, including himself.

Ramsay has invited chefs from his restaurants to sit at chef tables situated pretty much right on top of the action.

Dave is cooking appetizers for his chefs. Did they order risotto? No, but that’s what they’re getting. At least they’ve been greeted. Ariel keeps her table waiting for 17 minutes before she gets yelled at.

Dave starts off well, receiving compliments from both the chefs and Ramsay. Ariel delivers scallops and king crab capellini. Try more salt.

Van has sent out some plastic out for his customers to eat. Somebody could have eaten that, choked on it, and died. Oh, great, we’re back to the pregnant lady with the raw pork again where it’s the end of the world.

Sabrina is confused by what Suzanne’s doing. Whatever it is, it requires running around a lot.

Not having learned, Van delivers yet another plastic wrapped meal.

The blue team seems to have forgotten their VIP diners. Yeah, they don’t even have menus yet. Good luck getting the menus out of Van, who doesn’t seem to know how the food’s prepared.

Robert is hacking up pieces of lamb everywhere. None of them right.

The red team has serviced their executive chefs and are closing in on the finish line with two tables left.

Robert’s not doing any better. He has delivered raw meat. Ramsay calls the boys to him. Since Kevin responds but has not put down his pan, somehow he’s the one who gets yelled at.

The men are forced to shut down, as the women complete the service. Furthermore, both chefs sitting in the red kitchen would be happy to return, while both chefs in the blue kitchen would not.

The one-armed Dave will be able to appoint two people for nomination. Robert pushes for Andy based on past performance. Andy wants Robert to stop eating chicken pot pies all day long. So Robert starts saying something that’s bleeped out again and again and again, whatever it may be.

The first nominee is Robert due to his weak service and health problems. Also based on tonight’s performance, Van has been nominated. Before they go any further, Ramsay wants Andy to step forward, too. Van can get back in line. Then Robert screams a lot. Once that’s done, Andy can get in line. Robert has been dismissed due to that raw dish. Well, him coming back has proved to be quite pointless.

Big Brother 11 Episode 20

Posted by Shane on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 6:45 pm

Lydia was voted out in Big Brother 11 Episode 19, and then we left off at the beginning of an hour-long HOH competition.

Jeff and Jordan opted to get rid of Lydia instead of Russell due to the numbers and also because Russell will be a target in the future. Regardless of that, Jeff is the biggest target in the house now that he’s split up all the other couples.

Kevin’s had the lead throughout the competition. Jeff is giving him a run for his money as they run neck and neck. To raise the stakes, the two who finish at the bottom will be the have nots. That’s looking like Michele and Natalie. Kevin’s up 16-12 over Russell with Jeff at 11. At this point, gold cans are introduced that will allow them to close off one competitor’s tubes off for 60 seconds. Lame. Kevin hits 20. Jeff’s in second with 15. Russell and Natalie have 13. Michele still has just 9. Jeff ups it to 16 as Kevin hits 21. Obviously, somebody’s going to gold can him eventually. Russell lands the gold can and stops Kevin. Kevin uses his gold can on Russell to get revenge. Stupid. Should have used it on Jeff, who’s right on his heels. Kevin’s 22; Jeff’s 18. Jeff uses this minute to concentrate and hits 22. Kevin hits 23. Kevin uses 2 gold cans on Jeff unsuccessfully. Jeff is now at 23, so the first one to land their next can wins. Jeff wins HOH.

If Kevin goes home this week, he deserves it for stupidity. He had this competition won but played emotionally. Granted, he was also harmed by the stupid gold can nonsense.

Natalie and Kevin assume they’re both going up. Russell knows he’s got reason to worry, though.

Kevin’s hope is that he can convince Jeff he’s not a big threat. He says that if he won, he would have nominated Russell, which if true would have been a dumb idea.

Jordan is trying to convince Jeff to take her with him to Hawaii. She’s willing to maybe kiss and cuddle with him if he takes her. Nothing more. Wonder how that changes when her mom is not watching. By throwing HOH to her, he looks noble, gets this Hawaiian vacation, and he can decide what girl he wants to bring with him. Not a bad trade.

Russell denies that he ever planned to get rid of Jeff. What would be the advantage to him doing that? Uh, you split up the couple. Russell asks Michele if they ever talked about that. She responds that they were chatting about lots of stuff. That’s not a no. After this conversation, Jordan says that she doesn’t trust either of them. She believes Kevin and Natalie over them. He suggests going back to them to confront Russell. Jeff believes it would be a dumb move. As if going to the final four with two people who won’t stab each other is very smart. After some pushing, Russell still denies he ever said that, but he does acknowledge that he doesn’t stand a chance against Jeff in the finals.

Russell and Michele for the have nots for the week. They get churros and chitlins from the stupid/pointless America’s Choice votes. They’re both happy to see the churros, although they’ll pass on the chitlins.

There’s a poker game going on. The stakes are high: Now & Laters. Somehow, this leads to a shouting match between Natalie and Russell.

Russell doesn’t want to beat this dead horse any more, but Michele wants to go up there and talk to them some more. Jeff tells her they’re both safe, but in reality he hasn’t quite made a decision. Russell is suspicious of this. While she’s telling the truth, I wouldn’t have let her go up there to pitch for me if I were him.

Michele talks about how she works every day 7 days a week including holidays. So how does someone like that get 3 months off to come in the Big Brother house?

Natalie pitches a new final four deal: the two alliances joining together instead of one alliance siding with the floaters. In order to do that, Kevin and Natalie will go up. Then they will backdoor Russell if any of them gets the veto.

When Jeff approaches Jordan with this plan, her thought process is the same as his. They don’t know if they can trust Natalie, but they do know they can’t trust Russell.

If Russell were Jeff, he’d nominate Michele and himself.

Nominations
Russell is safe.
Michele is safe.
Jordan is safe.

Kevin and Natalie have been nominated for eviction. Natalie’s been put on the block one time each previously by both Jeff and Jordan, so she should be getting used to it. For Kevin, this is a first. Russell’s key was suspiciously first, which he should probably take as a hint something may be up.

Survivor: Marquesas Episode 13

Posted by Shane on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 6:10 pm

There was a lot of talk about someone flipping sides to improve their odds in Survivor: Marquesas Episode 12, but ultimately they all kept going the same way they were going and voted out the final remaining Rotu alliance member, Robert. That leaves a pair on either side of Kathy.

Vecepia’s playing the race card. She doesn’t get that she and Sean are linked because they’re an alliance, not because they’re African American. Well, she probably gets it, but this is a nice way to try to make Kathy feel guilty if she goes with Paschal and Neleh instead. Vecepia and Sean have been together from the beginning, except for a few days in the middle when she thought she had a better chance if she distanced herself from him. While Sean was tighter with Boston Rob, once Rob was eliminated, Sean gravitated toward V. Whether it’s more of an alliance of convenience or not, it’s obvious these two are allies who will vote as a block.

The reward challenge is a combination of previous challenges: they will assemble a tiki, break coconuts and fill a chute with juice, untie stilts and walk 10 feet, and open a box with a slingshot in it that they will use to break a tile over their own tiki. Reward will be a Saturn Vue, an SUV that’s likely soon to be phased out under Saturn’s new owners. Vecepia is the first one to complete her tiki. Neleh is next. Sean has his built next. Kathy is fourth. Paschal’s out of it and has no apparent chance of getting past the first station. Sean is the first to fill his chute with coconut juice. Then he’s the first to get his stilts, and nobody else is even going to challenge him. Then he walks on stilts and gets his slingshot. Everybody else has been forgotten. Sean wins reward, which if we’re to believe him happened as a result of divine intervention.

Paschal is discussing how he’s too weak to do much of anything. That makes him an ideal person to take along further because he’s not a challenge threat.

Because she doesn’t want to be the only one wasting energy getting food, Kathy plans to teach everyone how to get it. Sean has managed to get his first trocha shell. It’s been over a month.

Vecepia approaches Paschal because he looks down. His concern is that he and Neleh are targets because they’re a pair. They agree to discuss it with the group later that night. He gives them some new information, which wouldn’t have been hard to guess. He has no intention of voting for Neleh, even if it costs him the game, which is news to Kathy. Unlike Paschal and Neleh who are being honest, perhaps too honest, Sean and Vecepia continue to deny they have anything going. Nobody’s dumb enough to believe that blatant lie. Paschal’s tired of hearing this crap.

The immunity challenge will be based on a story about the local history. As Kathy suspected, anybody should be able to win this. Jeff will tell them a story, and from that story, they will have to answer questions. The first person to answer 5 out of 6 and cross the finish line with 5 tikis will win. Kathy, Neleh, and Paschal get the first one right. As time goes by, it comes down to a battle between Neleh and Kathy. Around this time, Paschal trips, showing how much of an advantage they will have over him in even the remotest of physical challenges. Kathy is the first to 5, and she’s just ahead of Neleh. One falls off of Kathy’s necklace as she’s running back to the finish line. As Neleh begins to celebrate, Probst informs her she, too, lost a tiki. Kathy finds hers first and wins immunity.

Now Kathy has her full choice of options. Does she vote out Sean, or does she vote out Neleh? Or does she force a tie and let the tiebreaker decide?

Probst points out the obvious. As strongly as it may be denied by some, Kathy is the swing vote. She doesn’t really need immunity, and she thinks immunity is up for negotiation… if somebody were to come to her. Nobody did. So now Sean agrees to make a deal with her. A cryptic deal. When Kathy presses him, he offers a final three with himself and Vecepia. Vecepia agrees to that alliance deal. Oh, so now they do have an alliance? Regardless, this is a stupid deal. She’s not going to give up immunity just so she can get a final three deal with somebody because she could get that anyway and still keep immunity.

By a vote of 3-2, Sean has been voted off the island. He’s certainly the biggest physical challenge threat, but unlike Pappy and Neleh who will never break, he may have possibly (albeit not likely) broken from Vecepia to save his own skin.

Survivor: Marquesas Episode 12

Posted by Shane on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 1:41 am

Tammy kept fighting to the end but ultimately was voted out in Survivor: Marquesas Episode 11 as the others remained more or less together.

Everybody’s talking about missing home. As we see the waterworks start to flow, it becomes obvious that a visit from home is coming. Unlike the rest of the tribe, The General is there to win the game, and that’s it. His family will still be there when he’s done. Paschal realizes he’s got himself a second family. Other than their immediate families, they spend more time with these people than they have with anybody else.

When they get to Probst, he asks how they would react if he offered them a phone call home. After getting their reactions, he tells them it’s not going to happen today. He’ll do them one better. Their families are there. The challenge is the puzzle to flip over colors and keep going until you have no more room to move. The added twist is that there are 6 skip a turn tiles and 1 wild card, the latter of which is hidden and will allow the person who lands on it to vote one person out of the game. The contestants won’t be playing, though. Their loved ones will. No verbal communication is allowed throughout the challenge, but they can communicate nonverbally. Paschal’s wife Beverly is the first one out. Sean’s buddy has landed on the wild card. He now has to vote somebody out, from a group of people he doesn’t know. sean is not offering any advice, so he tosses his hat and hits Vecepia’s husband Leander. Shortly thereafter, Sean’s friend Daryl runs out of room and is eliminated. Neleh’s mom Becky is the next out. Robert’s sister Diana has been eliminated by one move, so Kathy’s son Pat wins. For one night, he’s a member of their tribe and will head back to camp.

Everybody takes time to reflect how much they take for granted in their daily lives. They say that when they get home they need to change their ways and think twice about what they’re doing.

Kathy wants to discuss her dilemma with her son. Either way she’s pretty well screwed, staring down the barrel of third place. Maybe she should ally with Rob, Vecepia, and Sean to get rid of Paschal and Neleh. He doesn’t appear to be of any use in her decision making process.

Robert tells Kathy that Sean and V are getting upset with Neleh. This may present a saving grace for him and a solution to her concerns. They, or more specifically Sean, are growing tired of Neleh riding Paschal’s coattails. Not that he’s got much in the way coattails to ride because he hasn’t played the game very much either. Vecepia, the one who’s been praying and kissing butt in every episode, doesn’t think that Neleh being a nice sweet Mormon girl has anything to do with this game.

The immunity challenge is to use slingshots to target other players. Last time we had a challenge like this, it was the beginning of the end for Robert’s alliance. Sean gets nicked. Robert takes some damage. On the second move, Robert nails Paschal and eliminates him. Kathy eliminates Sean. Vecepia eliminates Robert, bringing it down to all the ladies left. Neleh and Vecepia unite to eliminate Kathy. After the two who remain miss a few times, Vecepia beats Neleh to win immunity. Unlike the last time, this game really doesn’t show how anybody’s thinking. Granted, this time seems to be more luck based than the last one.

Despite all her talk earlier, Kathy says it’s Rob’s turn to go, apparently because she’s just sticking with the majority. She realizes that Paschal and Neleh need to be split. So how exactly does she intend to do that if she doesn’t plan to make a move?

Sean makes sure to bring up his point at tribal council that Neleh’s a threat. Nonetheless, he, too, will maintain the status quo.

By a unanimous vote, Robert makes it 4 in a row for the alliance that at one point assumed they were in charge.

Survivor: Marquesas Episode 11

Posted by Shane on Friday, August 21, 2009 at 9:50 pm

Since Tammy had immunity, the elimination process was carried down the line with Zoe instead in Survivor: Marquesas Episode 10. By voting out the individual who had strayed from the alliance, the rest of the tribe still left a pair intact.

It’s the let’s talk about food and how tired we are episode. While the others talk about food, Kathy’s diving for shells, but she hopes to kill a baby shark.

We know where all this is leading. The reward challenge is the food/bed/shower challenge. It’s an island version of musical chairs. Scattered on the bottom of the ocean are shells. Whoever dives down and comes up without a shell is eliminated. The final four will compete in a sprint from the dock to the shore carrying a 40 pound rock. Their reward will be a room on a luxury cruise ship for the evening. Vecepia quits on the first leg. At least pretend to try. Neleh lags behind but grabs one. Sean, despite his original fear of the swimming challenge, pulls it together to get one as well. Sean is eliminated in the second leg, but at least he tried. The final four is as obvious as it originally appeared, as Neleh gets eliminated. 40 pounds in the water is not very heavy, but it’s probably enough to weigh down the women and make it a race between Paschal and Robert. Paschal wins reward pretty easily. He is not forced to make a choice of who to bring with him. Not at the challenge anyway. Probst will clearly make him pick when he arrives with the boat. It goes without saying he invites Neleh. Sean points out that it’s Vecepia’s birthday, and he should have picked her like he would have if he won (granted, V is also Sean’s closest ally, so it’s pretty easy for him to say that).

After Neleh and Paschal have their multiple course meal, utilizing Jeff Probst’s Visa to leave a $200 tip, they return to a tribe expecting smuggled food. Neleh’s not shy to tell them about her adventures in excessive detail. So what has she brought back for them? A used mint. No takers. The next morning, Sean’s using the reward as a reason to complain about Neleh. He says she’s lazy. Ironic. That’s what people said about him the first 21 days or so of the game.

Tired of being taunted by a pig, Robert has decided to make himself a snare. He believes that catching a pig will save him. A little late for that.

The immunity challenge is to make fire and pop one kernel of popcorn. Then they will move to the final station to make another fire. Unlike most seasons where they’re given flint or matches, this year they’ve had a magnifying glass, so this challenge using magnesium, flint, and steel will be new to all of them. Vecepia is the first one to get a flame. The General is right behind her, and he knows he has to win. Kathy is next to get fire, followed closely by Sean. Neleh is next. Paschal is just hoping for some matches. Robert is the first to move on to the next station. Vecepia is in second. Nobody else has a chance here. Robert wins immunity. Oddly, Vecepia actually held her own this time.

With that win, Robert assumes that Tammy is going. Kathy is afraid that Tammy has something up her sleeve, though. She’s worried that Vecepia and Sean will flip. That would make them a foursome rather than a fivesome, theoretically improving their odds. Granted, they also run the risk that one of the others, likely Kathy, would see this betrayal as an opportunity to make herself a final three pact with Rob and Tammy.

By a vote of 5-2, Tammy has been voted off the island. I didn’t care for the rest of her alliance, but Tammy actually seemed to be a competent player.
