HALLOWEEN BRINGS THE GHOSTS OF OLIVE AND NED’S PASTS BACK TO HAUNT THEM, ON ABC’S “PUSHING DAISIES”
“Girth” - When jockeys start turning up trampled to death, supposedly by the ghost of a long dead rider (guest star Hamish Linklater, “The New Adventures of Old Christine”) and his spooky horse, Olive — a jockey in her life before the Pie Hole — hires Ned and the team to investigate. Meanwhile, Ned finds himself haunted by the ghosts of his own past as Halloween nears, on “Pushing Daisies,” WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 31 (8:00-9:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network. Barbara Barrie also guest stars as Mamma Jacobs.

“Pushing Daisies” stars Lee as Ned, Anna Friel as Chuck, Chi McBride as Emerson Cod, Ellen Greene as Vivian, with Swoosie Kurtz as Lily and Kristin Chenoweth as Olive Snook. Jim Dale is the narrator.

Guest starring in “Girth” are Field Cate as young Ned, Hamish Linklater as John Joseph Jacobs, Barbara Barrie as Mamma Jacobs, Christopher Neiman as Lucas Shoemaker, Carlos Alazraqui as Gordon, Ralph P. Martin as Pinky McCoy, Jon Eric Price as Ned’s father and Leyna Nguyen as the newscaster.

“Girth” was written by Kath Lingenfelter and directed by Peter O’Fallon.
